Janice Marie Hauge
Janice Marie Hauge of Manhattan  MT (born 2/12/30), passed away surrounded by her family at home on January 13, 2021. She lived with her daughter Kimberly and her family for the last several years. Janice was born in Viroqua, WI and grew up on the family farm with her siblings until she graduated from Westby High School. She then moved to LaCrosse, WI where she met her husband James R. Hauge on a golf course and they then married on June 15, 1957. Janice and James worked wonderfully together in the food business owning A & W Drive Inn’s and later, Take -n- Bake Foods in Faribault, MN until retirement in 1994. They then moved to Pine River, MN and enjoyed their time together fishing, golfing, and playing cards with many friends. Janice loved and excelled at playing Bridge and stayed busy throughout the years in numerous card clubs. She enjoyed Bingo and traveling with James in their RV. From Stow, Ohio to Columbus, Indiana, and Scranton, Pennsylvania, employees of Mactac closed out the challenging 2020 year by giving back to local communities.
In the final weeks of 2020, employees at Mactac’s Stow location provided eight area families in need with clothes, toys, grocery and gas cards, diapers, and more.
The donation effort was part of Akron Children’s Hospital’s ‘Adopt A Family’ program. Mactac partnered with the hospital to identify families within the Stow and Cuyahoga Falls city limits who were in need of assistance and facing unthinkable hardships, such as a child with a complex illness, or a child facing a shortened life expectancy, needing increased hospital stays, home care service ....
