Hingham Unity Council to host Race Talk

Hingham Unity Council recently announced it will host Race Talk from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Feb. 25 via Zoom. 
Panelists include Hingham residents Sonya Fairhurst and Marc Lucas along with HUC member and moderator, Manny Oppong. Each will share their personal experiences living and working as persons of color in the Hingham community. 
“Our stories are just that, our stories, Oppong said. We do not speak for every person of color. But having discussions like this has the potential to open eyes to some realities in our town and encourage important dialogue. We hope to break down the often-invisible barriers that separate neighbors so that all people may feel welcome in Hingham.” ....
