Sedalia Police Reports For April 8, 2021 This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Sunday morning, concerned citizens reported a vehicle driving erratically. The vehicle was stopped at Missouri Avenue and Magnolia, where the operator was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated by Drugs. Lori Ann Jones, 58, of Sedalia, was transported to the Police Station, then the hospital for a blood draw. Jones was then released to a sober person. The case was forwarded to the Pettis County Prosecutor s office.
Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Albright Court Sunday afternoon in regard to a violation of a full order of protection. The victim stated the suspect came up to them, in violation of the order, and starting yelling and cursing at them. Tuesday night, Sedalia Police observed an individual riding a bike on West Main Street without a light in the area of West Main Street and Winchester Drive. During the search, Officers located a grinder and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. Gonzalo J. Esqueda, 39, Homeless, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released. A request for the charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia has been submitted to the prosecutor.
Wednesday night, Sedalia Police observed an individual riding a bike without a light in the area of East 5th Street and South Washington Avenue. The subject was identified and during the course of the investigation it was found the subject had a no bond warrant from the Division of Probation and Parole.
