Man Shot in Atlantic City, Suspect Arrested in Somers Point Just after 4AM Wednesday, Atlantic City police officers responded to the first block of South Bellevue Avenue after they received a report about a man having been shot, according to a press release. Authorities say they located the victim, a 21-year-old man from Atlantic City, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg that was bleeding heavily. Get our free mobile app Two officers, Ofc. Brandon Bower and Matthew Talavera, began to provide medical aid to the victim; one officer applied a tourniquet to slow the bleeding.
