Tom Barrack, 74, wearing a black mask to protect against the coronavirus, appeared in Brooklyn federal court for the first time, days after he was freed on $250 million bail following his arrest in California. Mr Barrack, 74, was a key aide to Mr Trump during his 2016 campaign. He has been accused of illegally lobbying on behalf of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during and after the election, as well as lying to the FBI. Mr Barrack entered his not guilty plea during his first court appearance on Monday in New York City.
