Payment Gateway CITCON Partners Pure-Digital Payments Network Flexa to Enable Bitcoin, Ethereum Transactions

CITCON, the payment gateway provider that offers in-store, online, and mobile payment solutions to over 6,000 brands across the globe, has partnered with
Flexa, the “pure-digital” payments network, in order to enable merchants with accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment option.
Merchants connected to Citcon will now have the option to accept many different virtual currencies supported on the Flexa network. They include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Dogecoin (DOGE).
Merchants who accept crypto payments via Flexa are “guaranteed” fraud protection or loss from “the time of authorization, all at no extra cost,” the announcement noted,

1. Be flexible in tenders
Airports must build flexibility into tender offers according to
PT&M Managing Director Eric Trichot. He warned that fixed requirements will damage the standard of bids which the tender receives in the current environment.
He said: “When a crisis is ongoing…it creates major uncertainty on the level of traffic and scenarios of recovery. All the fixed parameters in the tender become a problem; they were acceptable in the stable environment and they could be potential deal breakers or generate low bids in a very uncertain environment.”

The International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores (IAADFS) and Asociación Sudamericana de Tiendas Libres (ASUTIL) have confirmed the addition of Jane Ewing, Senior Vice President Sustainability, Walmart as a speaker for the upcoming virtual 2021 Summit of the Americas
(5-9 April 2021).
Ewing leads Walmartâs sustainability team and efforts, which prioritise people and the planet by aiming to source responsibly, sell sustainable products, restore natural resources and reduce waste and emissions.
These initiatives will be discussed in a special session at the Summit, which will address sustainability as a core business value in retail and travel retail.
