ASU Belles Basketball traveled to United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock, Texas to take on the Texas Tech Lady Raiders on Wednesday, Dec. 9, and left with an 87-42 loss to our sister school.
 
The Lady Raiders controlled the game from the opening tip, forcing the Bells to commit 16 turnovers. The Belles didn t have a great game offensively, shooting only 28.6% from the field and 15.4% from the three-point line. On the other hand, the Lady Raiders shot 49.2% from the field and 47.4% from the three-point line. The Lady Raiders also outrebounded the Belles 42-33.
 
Senior Lana Marov had a double-double along with being the Belles leading scorer and rebounder, scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 boards. Guard Sadie Misner scored 10 points and had 2 assists in her first collegiate game as a Belle. Freshman Madeline Stephens, also making her Belles debut, scored 6 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. ....
