A large group of Back the Blue supporters showed up to an Illinois city council meeting to demand support for its police officers.

Stuckey Mitsubishi, part of the Stuckey Automotive Group which opened in College Township in July 2020, is in the process of purchasing the Centre Daily Times building at 3400 E. College Ave.
“In 2019, we were afforded an opportunity to expand our operations to the State College area. To our good fortune, the College Township council was there from the beginning to generously give their support and guidance,” President Matt Stuckey said. “Now, we look to the council once more for their approval on our plans to breathe new life into a once-thriving location that will serve as our permanent location. Pending permit and planning approval, we will finalize our plans and begin work immediately.” ....

HOLLIDAYSBURG Hollidaysburg resident Tyler Slippy was likely murdered in his home Nov. 21 by a coworker because of a romantic rivalry, Blair County District Attorney Pete Weeks said.
Nearly seven weeks after the Hollidaysburg Borough Police Department announced 27-year-old Slippy’s homicide, police and members of the Blair County District Attorney’s Office released details of the grisly murder during a press conference Friday.
Law enforcement’s primary suspect, 39-year-old Kenneth T. Kim, was found dead Dec. 23 in a hotel room in Cambria County after stealing a vehicle from a car dealership and fleeing from police as they conducted warranted searches of his possessions and property. Police reported Kim took his own life. ....
