He hopped on his bike to head home, but as he got to 36th Avenue East off 14th Street, a driver hit him. Manatee County paramedics Lydia Wilkinson and Karleigh Alday were sent to help. They discovered Reich had 47 broken bones, including a broken back and pelvis. His lungs had also collapsed. ....

To accomplish that, using a donation from the Rossi Family Foundation, the commission is offering small businesses supplies of free face masks. The masks are available in sizes for both adults and children, EDC member Matt Reich said. “The masks are being provided at no cost to businesses for immediate use or future needs and can be used however the businesses see best to support protecting the health of all involved during the workday,” Reich said. ....
