A PREGNANT woman from Blakedown says she s scared for her baby s health whilst living in a disgusting mouldy bungalow. Shannon Gunnell, who is 34-weeks-pregnant, has been living in the home on Sculthorpe Road with her mother Natasha for more than two-years. The family says all the rooms in the home, apart from the hallway, have gradually been taken over by mould. They are now desperate to move out as they fear the mould is affecting their breathing, their mental health, and they are concerned for the unborn baby. They have made a request to their social housing provider The Community Housing Group to be rehoused. ....

Beef Australia chief executive Ian Mill says a host of new attractions will feature on this year s program, to appeal to a wider audience than ever before. The event will be as large as ever, with an abundance of new offerings and importantly, a new virtual component should people not be able to attend in person, he says. Energy and regeneration specialist ENGIE will lead on the second phase of the extra care complex at Berrington Court, located off Stourport Road, on behalf of The Community Housing Group. The new development, which will be built on derelict land in Felix Baxter Drive, is comprised of 65 one and two-bed apartments and will be connected to the first phase through a walkway, creating one of the largest independent living schemes in Wyre Forest. The first phase, built by ENGIE back in 2016, is made up of 100 apartments and communal areas including a restaurant and cafe bar, lounges, a cinema, beauty salon and activity space. ....
