After a season of unknowns, teams having to postpone, reschedule, and outright cancel games. A season that required mask on fans and unfilled gyms. The Warriors got to prove to the State of Wyoming they were the best. A chance to “Leave No doubt.” The opening round of the Wyoming 3A Boys State Basketball Championships were held in Casper Wyoming March 10th and 11th. The Warriors came into the Championships as the number one seed from the West Region. They would face the East Regions number 4 seed Wheatland Bulldogs.

Warriors Win Over Hot Springs County | Big Horn Radio Network

Written by Chance Bond on February 11, 2021 The Worland Warriors remain at the number one spot in Wyoming 3A Boys Basketball. Tops in the State as the Warriors had lost two in a row. Hot Springs County would reschedule a game from Saturday and play on Tuesday night. The Bobcats were 4-10 for the season and 0-4 in the 3A Northeast Quad. The Warriors came out shooting with three’s. Rudy Sanford had two. Jorey Anderson and Brock Douzenis both had one. Added with Mack Page and his six points. Worland finished the first period with a 25-15 lead. The Bobcats Hardy Johnson, Adley Coyne, and Jase Longwell would carry the bulk of the Hot Springs offense in the second period. Sanford would continue with long range shots. Scoring would come from eight different Warriors in the first half. 37-28 halftime lead.

Warriors First Loss of the Season | Big Horn Radio Network

Written by Chance Bond on February 1, 2021 Rawlins Outlaws were 6-3 coming into Saturday’s game against the Warriors. Their three losses were to Riverton 64-49 in the Outlaws season opener. They lost to the Lander Tigers 68-60 on the 8th of January. Their biggest loss of the season to Laramie was an eleven point 60-49 game back on January 15th. The Outlaws biggest margin of victory was a 45 point win over New Castle 78-33. Rawlins beat Torrington by 38, Burns by 37, and Thermopolis by 28. Rawlins is the second ranked scoring team in the State of Wyoming in 3A boys basketball with 64.5 points per game average. The Warriors are the number one ranked team averaging 15.8 points higher per game average then Rawlins with an outstanding 80.3.

Written by Chance Bond on December 21, 2020 There is no other way to put it. The Worland Warriors dominated over the weekend. Winning by an average of 39 and a half points. If you add the Thermopolis game the Warriors are winning by nearly 37 points a game. The Warriors win over Torrington on Friday 69-36 with Mack Page leading the scoring with 18 points. Rudy Sanford followed with 15 including 4 three point shots made. Defensively Worland held the Trailblazers leading scorer to 9 points. “Play like bees on defense and robots on offense.” Says Coach Aaron Abel. The Burns Broncs faired less as the Warriors beat Burns by 46 points 79-33. Worland had four scorers in double digits Page, Sanford and Sophomores Brock Douzenis and Court Gonzalez. Jorey Anderson would add 8 points of his own. Burns had a scorer in Tate Bishop who had 14 points in the game. One other Bronc had 7. No other Burns player had more then 4 point.
