League hosts forum for Westford election hopefuls

WESTFORD The League of Women Voters of Westford is hosting a virtual candidates forum and wants to hear from voters in town with questions.
The league s candidates night takes place April 14, 7-9 p.m., according to an announcement on the league s Facebook page.
Questions welcome
The league asks residents to send questions by 5 p.m. April 9 to a link on the league s website. Organizers have asked those submitting questions to observe rules:
Organizers said residents can call in this year with questions, but encourages questions sent in advance.
The league website lists rules, noting that questions will be answered only during the forum. ....

The contactless food ordering program at Philadelphia International Airport is piloting a robotic strategy with a gita (a robot featuring visual sensors) that is delivering food orders to customers using the airport s OrderAtPHL.com program.
The pilot kicked off this week and will run through April, according to an airport news announcement. The gita can carry up to 40 pounds in its cargo bin and guests open the bin to access their items.

The airport is testing a new robotic food delivery program, as of Monday (February 22nd) in addition to its existing food ordering website. The robot even has a name..it s Gita..pronounced Jeeta.which means short trip in Italian. It can carry 40 pounds of food from gate to gate for customer after customer, for up to four hours on a charge. Wow. The article says that s like 20 miles of walking. That robot is going to get some exercise. Lol. Gita has mobility intelligence so is able to navigate around other passengers. It rolls behind a human delivery person with its visual sensors, stops, turns, and delivers your food. It has a bin in the top, so when Gita rolls up, you open the top and take out your order. ....
