New Delhi: As a large part of the country continues to remain under strict curbs due to the raging COVID pandemic, several states and Union Territories including Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh extended till May 17 their ongoing lockdown. Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Rajasthan will also have a two-week shutdown starting May 10, while in Karnataka stringent restrictions will come into effect till May 24. On Saturday, Kerala came under a nine-day complete lockdown.

Delhi: The national capital has been under lockdown since April 19 and it has now been extended till May 17. ....

Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh on Sunday extended till May 17 their ongoing lockdown as a large part of the country remained under strict curbs due to the raging COVID pandemic with 4,03,738 new cases and 4,092 deaths recorded in a day.
New Delhi:
Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Puducherry will also have a two-week shutdown starting Monday, while in Karnataka stringent restrictions will come into effect till May 24 . On Saturday, Kerala came under a nine-day complete lockdown.
In the Northeast, Mizoram government has imposed a seven-day lockdown from Monday, while Sikkim has clamped restrictions till May 16. ....

NEW DELHI: Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana extended their ongoing lockdowns till May 17 to curb the unprecedented surge of Covid-19 cases and deaths.
Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and Puducherry will also have a two-week shutdown starting Monday, while in Karnataka s stringent lockdown will come into effect on Monday till May 24. On Saturday, Kerala came under a nine-day complete lockdown.
This means that from Monday, a majority of the country will be under either a strict lockdown or lockdown-like curbs.
Meanwhile, Covid cases continue to soar as India reported over 4 lakh fresh infections on Sunday for the fourth consecutive day. The fatalities continued to stay above 4,000. ....
