Mass COVID-19 Testing Site in Billings Will Close This Week According to RiverStone Health CEO and Yellowstone County public health officer John Felton, the number of people getting tested for COVID-19 is so few, the county will be closing the testing site on Overland Avenue at weeks end. The press release says the RiverStone Health free COVID-19 testing site on the United Way of Yellowstone County campus will remain open through this Friday (4/16), and then will move to RiverStone s Viral Care Clinic at 123 27th Street in downtown Billings. BILLINGS, Mont. - Appointments for Yellowstone County community COVID-19 vaccine clinics Saturday at MetraParkâs Cedar Hall and Monday and Tuesday clinics at the Shrine Auditorium are now open. According to a release from the Yellowstone County Unified Health Command, in response to changing demand for vaccine, the first-dose and second-dose community clinics will be consolidated starting Monday, April 19, at the Shrine Auditorium, 1125 Broadwater Ave. The clinics will be: Saturday, April 17, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at MetraParkâs Cedar Hall. Monday, April 19, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am and from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Shrine Auditorium. Tuesday, April 20, from 7:00 am to 11:00 am and from 12:00 pm to 4:00 at the Shrine Auditorium. ....

At least 262 Yellowstone County residents have succumbed to pandemic illness since spring 2020, according to RiverStone Health records. A man in his 70s passed away on April 14, 2021, at a Billings hospital. âWhile the number of local infections and deaths have decreased in each succeeding month of 2021, those facts donât lessen loss and grief for this latest victimâs loved ones,â said John Felton, Yellowstone County health officer and president and CEO of RiverStone Health. âI offer my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.â ....
