The next high tide for the Mersey Estuary at Warrington is expected to be higher than usual at 13:30 17/04/2018. Flooding of low lying land is possible in the following places: Fiddlers Ferry between 13:30 and 14:15. Eastford Road between 13:45 and 14:30. Arpley Bridge between 14:00 and 14:45. It is possible that river levels may affect Arpley Road under the railway bridge. People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care around locations adjacent to the Mersey Estuary in Warrington. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you if necessary. Detailed tidal information for those who use it: the forecast high tide level is 5.28mAOD at Liverpool Gladstone Dock, this is 0.61 metres above astronomical tide level.

Essar Oil UK, controlled by the Ruias, is in advanced negotiations with Apollo Global Management and three other banks to raise GBP 400 million to repay the credit raised against receivables from Lloyds Bank. The British lender had ceased acting as Essar s main banker after the company ran into financial troubles due to pandemic-led disruptions.
