MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A Black Lives Matter and a rainbow crosswalk were unveiled in Midtown Memphis over the weekend.
The colorful crosswalks are now on display at Cooper St. and Monroe Ave. near the Hattiloo Theatre.
The Memphis Public Art Review committee approved the designs earlier this year.
In 2019, a rainbow crosswalk was unveiled in Cooper Young.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A crosswalk with the words âBlack Lives Matterâ is coming to midtown Memphis.
The Memphis Public Art Review committee approved the rainbow-theme crosswalk Wednesday.
Itâs planned for Cooper and Monroe near the Hattiloo Theatre, the cityâs black repertory theater.
The installation date is still being worked out.
