Parents feel the loss of only child who stopped to help woman near Menora Tunnel on NSE

IPOH: While the parents of K. Nagantheran have accepted his passing early this month, they are still mourning the loss of their only child.
His mother, M. Kalpana, 46, said Nagantheran, 22, was a filial son who was also known for always helping others in need.
“He was a great son who was always there for us.
“After he finished schooling, he started looking for jobs because he did not want to burden us, ” she said when met after receiving aid from the Social Security Organisation (Socso) for his late son at the Perak police contingent headquarters here on Tuesday (May 11). ....

IPOH: A local man was killed while three others sustained serious injuries in an accident involving four vehicles at Kilometre 263.3 of the southbound lane of North-South Expressway, near Menora Tunnel today.
Meru fire and rescue station chief Shahrudi Muhamad Halil said they received a call around 3.56 pm about the incident involving three cars and a motorcycle that killed a 40-year-old man, K.Nagantheran.
He said two men and a woman in her 40s sustained serious injuries while another victim suffered light wounds. The remaining six victims were unhurt. ....

IPOH: Fourteen passengers and an express bus driver were injured when the bus skidded and veered onto the road shoulder before landing on its side in a drain at the south-bound of KM 265 of the North-South Expressway after the Menora Tunnel early today.
Meru Fire and Rescue Station chief Shahrudi Muhamad Halil said the station was alerted of the incident, involving 12 men and three women, aged between 14 and 59, at 2.22am. ....
