LOUISVILLE, Ky. A West Louisville Kroger closed its doors early the Friday night before the Kentucky Derby, frustrating many community members, business owners, and city leaders. The grocery store, on West Broadway at 28th closed at 5 p.m., and barricades were put up blocking the parking lot.

Just when you thought the war on Louisville was over, here we go again. Rather than having a meaningful discussion about how to move the city of Louisville forward, Frankfort is focused on placing its finger on the scales of our local election and abandoning basic principles of local control.
