Wayne MVC agency closed until next month

Wayne MVC agency closed until next month Updated Jan 22, 2021; After a week with few agency closures, the state Motor Vehicle Commission’s Wayne licensing center closed until next month due to an employee testing positive for the coronavirus. The employee who tested positive was last in the Wayne Center on Thursday, and it is scheduled to reopen Friday, Feb. 5, MVC officials said. Vehicle inspections and Road Test Operations at Wayne remain open, because they are in separate buildings from the Licensing Center. The number of agencies open will improve slightly as the Medford Vehicle Center and Salem Licensing Center will reopen, Saturday. Both were closed for quarantine and full COVID-19 cleaning, officials said.
