Reading FC want to build 140 homes on their old training ground at Hogwood Park CONTROVERSIAL plans to build 140 homes on Reading FC’s former training ground have been approved. The club’s application for outline planning permission to build on Hogwood Park was approved by Wokingham Borough Council on Wednesday, December 9. They want to construct two, three, and four-bedroom homes and have agreed to ensure that 56 of them are affordable. The Championship club, who have moved to a new training facility at Bearwood Park, will have to get a more detailed reserved matters planning application approved before construction can begin.
