Registrations have opened for the eighth annual Clean up for the Hatchlings event, at 17 locations from Coolum to Caloundra next Saturday. Volunteers are invited to register and meet at the beach of their choice at 6am to pick up litter ready for the hatchlings. All volunteers are invited to come together to enjoy a free barbecue at Buddina s La Balsa Park from 8am when there will be a prize draw, activities, and weighing of collected debris. ....

Volunteers are invited to register and meet at the beach of their choice at 6am to pick up litter and clean up the beach ready for the hatchlings. We ve made our way around it with FaceTime and other technology that we re able to use these days… and we ve been doing a really good job of staying on top of it, said Smith, who honed his game as a junior on the Invincibles Sunshine Coast Tour. Stuart McKenzie, from Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers rushed to capture a 1.8m eastern brown snake which was terrorising swimmers at Mooloolaba Beach on Wednesday. ....
