Unfortunately, the same crisis has played a negative role in the suspension of the men’s Premier basketball league in Nigeria. The case instituted by Gombe Bulls and Kwara Falcons against the Musa Kida led board is to be decided by the Federal High Court in Abuja on January 26. Speaking to Daily Trust yesterday, Skambo said the much awaited judgment may not solve the problem as he insisted that only fresh elections into to the board will end the crisis. He said “Basketball in Nigeria has suffered so much and the issue has gone to court and it is not an out-of-court settlement. ....
