Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif may be named adviser to CM

NOWSHERA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet is likely to undergo changes in the near future, sources said.
The sources privy to the development told The News that a former senator from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, who has joined the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), is likely to be named the adviser on information to Chief Minister Mahmood Khan.
It was learnt that the chief minister has consulted Prime Minister Imran Khan for giving this responsibility to Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif as he wants him to highlight the reforms being undertaken by the KP government in various sectors.

The meeting was attended by Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, MNA Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister for Housing Tariq Bashir Cheema, Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood, Information Minister Shibli Faraz and Planning Minister Asad Umar.
Current political situation in the country and coalition issues were discussed during the meeting, says a statement issued by PM Office. The ruling coalition parties expressed full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The forum reiterated full support for PM’s decision on chairman and deputy chairman.

Senator Barrister Muhamamd Ali Saif calls on PM
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Barrister Muhmmad Ali Saif on Wednesday joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Barrister Saif, who is due to retire as Senator on March 11, 2021 had won the seat on ticket of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM).
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain was also present in the meeting, the PM Office said.
Earlier, Sadiq Sanjrani called on Prime Minister Imran to discuss strategy for Senate Chairman and Deputy Chairman elections that will be held on March 12.
