FAISALABAD: Sadar police arrested two drug peddlers, including a woman, and recovered hashish from their possession. Police said on Sunday that a police team headed by SI Ziaullah set up a picket near Mohallah Elahiabad Chak 225-RB, Malkhanwala, Satiana Road. The police team signaled a suspected car (LEC-5121) to stop but its driver accelerated the speed in panic, due to which, the car crashed into a wall. Police arrested the car driver Ilyas and Sobia, wife of Muhammad Amin, residents of Sahiwal. During the search, the police recovered 10.5kg hashish from the cavities of the car. A case has been registered against the accused. ....

FAISALABAD: Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested two robbers and recovered illicit weapons and cash from their possession.
Sargodha Road police raided a home at Millat Town and arrested two dacoits identified as Sharafat Ali and Asad Ali, residents of Hajvery Town, and recovered cash and illegal weapons from them. During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to commit crimes on Sargodha Road, Millat Town and Peoples Colony. Further investigation was underway.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sindhâs Anti-Human Trafficking Circle on Wednesday claimed arresting three persons, including an official of the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra), on charges of involvement in making fake computerised national identity cards.
The spokesman for the FIA said personnel raided a location and arrested Abdul Aziz Abbasi, data entry operator at Nadraâs Mega Centre, DHA, along with Muhammad Amin and Meraj (agents of non-nationals).
Ameen obtained CNIC No. 42201-4772707-3 on the basis of fake MNIC No. 504-75-390211 by impersonating himself as a Pakistani national by submitting fake and forged documents and information. He succeeded in obtaining the CNIC with the connivance of Nadra officials as well as agent Meraj by demanding Rs30,000 for the purpose. ....
