Fresh terror attack in Bagat Barzulla area of Srinagar, two cops martyred

New Delhi, Feb 19: A fresh terror attack took place in Bagat Barzulla area of Srinagar. Two policemen of the Jammu and Kashmir police force have been martyred in the attack.
In an unprovoked attack terrorists attacked policemen deployed at Baghat town in the outskirts of Srinagar. The area was immediately cordoned off.
In a separate incident, three unidentified terrorists were killed in an encounter in south Kashmir s Shopian on Friday.

Earlier this week, a hotel worker of the Krishna Dhaba in Srinagar was injured in a terror attack. A group called the Muslim Janbaaz Force claimed responsibility for the attack. The group also warned of more attacks.

Both the injured #policemen namely SgCT Mohammad Yousuf of Zurhama Kupwara and Ct Suhail Ahmad of Logripora Aishmuqam attained #martyrdom. We pay our rich tributes to the #martyrs and standby their families at this crucial juncture, the Kashmir Zone police said in a tweet.

In the unprovoked attack in Barzulla area of Srinagar district, two policemen were critically injured and later succumbed to their injuries.
The Barzulla terrorist attack was caught on camera, showing the horrifying action. The terrorist hid an assault rifle under his pheran and opened fire, injuring police officers. The Resistant Front, a front for Pakistani terror group Lashkar-e-Tayyiba, has claimed responsibility for the attack. The terrorist has been identified and a massive manhunt is underway.

JAMMU, Feb 19: Three police personnel were martyred in two separate shootouts while an equal number of militants were killed across Kashmir and police arrested three persons allegedly involved in the attack on the son of the owner of a famous eatery.
Militants today martyred two police men who were on duty in Baghat area of Srinagar. The two cops were outside a shop while another was inside when militants fired at them. Both the cops who were unarmed were critically injured in the attack.
The CCTV footage of the shootout shared by police shows a lone militant appearing at the spot hiding his AK-47 rifle under gown (Pheran). The militant suddenly fires at the cops who are standing at a shop front leaving them in a pool of blood. The attack causes panic and people are seen fleeing from the spot and so is the militant.
