Located in Mumbai, the largest slum of Asia, Dharavi, is now left with just six cases of coronavirus. The feat was not achieved in a day, but what went beyond was aggressive planning, tracking and testing by the city officials.
Maharashtra once again reported less than 10,000 cases on Thursday as 9,830 persons tested positive for coronavirus. Also, the state s death toll breached the 1.16 lakh mark with 236 new fatalities in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra on Thursday reported less than 20,000 new cases of COVID-19 for the fifth consecutive day. The total caseload of the state climbed to 57,91,413, with 15,229 persons testing positive for coronavirus.
As the number of coronavirus cases continues to decline in the city, Mumbai on Sunday reported 1,544 fresh cases of the infection. With this, the caseload of the financial capital of India climbed to 6,88,696.
