MUMBAI: Mumbai reported 3,876 new Covid-19 cases on Monday, the lowest daily count since March 30, while 70 more patients succumbed to the infection, the city civic body said.
According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) s updated data, with the addition of 3,876 cases, the Covid-19 tally increased to 6,31,527, while the death toll jumped to 12,853.
As compared to Sunday, the metropolis has reported 1,666 fewer cases, but six more deaths. A day before, the financial capital had registered 5,542 new cases and 64 fatalities.

Mumbai: With the number of coronavirus cases and deaths rising each day at an alarming pace, active cases in the city s major slum colony
Dharavi is inching dangerously closer to the 1000-mark.
On Sunday, Dharavi reported 37 new COVID-19 cases, taking the total caseload to 6,325. The largest slum of Asia now has 961 active cases within its limits.
However, a total of 5,020 persons have also recovered in the area till date.
Neighbouring regions of
Dadar and
Mahim too are witnessing a rapid rise in their case tally. In the past 24 hours, Dadar recorded 50 new COVID-19 cases.

MUMBAI: Mumbai reported 7,214 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking its tally to 5,93,906, while 35 patients succumbed to the infection, the city civic body said.
With 7,214 more infections, the Covid-19 caseload jumped to 5,93,906, while the death toll increased to 12,439, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation s (BMC) updated data.

According to the data, the number of Covid-19 tests done so far crossed the 50-lakh mark and reached 50,27,882 after 45,350 samples were examined in the last 24 hours.

MUMBAI: Mumbai reported 7,381 new Covid-19 cases and 57 fresh fatalities on Monday, the city civic body said.
With the new cases and fatalities, the Covid-19 infection count jumped to 5,86,692, while the death toll rose to 12,404, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation s (BMC) updated data.
The financial capital has reported nearly 1,100 less cases compared to Sunday, but the fatalities went up by four.
On Sunday, Mumbai had reported 8,479 cases and 53 fatalities.
Also, 8,583 patients were discharged from hospitals during the day, pushing the tally of recovered cases to 4,86,622, the data showed.
