One dead, six injured in Bhiwandi godown collapse

One person died and several were injured after a one storey building collapsed in
Bhiwandi on Monday.
According to preliminary information, a ground plus one storey godown collapsed in Bhiwandi’s Harihar compound near Manakoli Naka at around 10:30 am.
Bhiwandi fire station officers and three fire engines immediately rushed to the spot.
Officials of RDMC,
Thane fire brigade with 1 Emergency Tender, Thane Disaster Response Force (15 personnel) are also present at the spot.
Saurabh Tripathi, who worked as a security guard at the building, died. Six injured persons have been successfully rescued. ....
