AN army of volunteers have thanked the community for their support as they continue to help Wrexham s homeless and most vulnerable.
Matty Evans, Hel Smart, Corrina Edwards, Debbie Evans and Denise Parry have been going out into Wrexham every week to provide hot meals, food parcels, puddings and clothes to the homeless.
Hel, from Denbighshire, told the Leader that although homeless people were allowed to stay in hotel and accommodation rooms, they had no cooking facilities etc.
But communities and other volunteer groups have jumped on board to help the team deliver fresh meals and clothing donations every week, including hot chocolates with cream and marshmallows. ....
