Set Momjian, Advisor to Presidents, Passes Away

Set Charles Momjian, 91, of Huntingdon Valley, New Jersey, well-known antiques collector and advisor to presidents, died on Monday, April 12 after a long illness.
He was born in Atlantic City in 1930 to Julia and Charles Momjian, both orphaned refugees from the Armenian Genocide who were raised by American missionaries. Charles died at an early age and the family, which included younger brother Albert, had a difficult time during the Depression era.
Momjian attended Atlantic City High School, LaSalle College and Charles Morris Price School of Advertising. After school, he joined the Army, where upon learning that the platoon photographer would have his own private quarters, spent a weekend learning all he could about photography. Returning to Atlantic City, he used this skill again, as the official photographer for the Miss America pageant. ....

Fact check: Barbara Bush not related to Aleister Crowley


The claim: Barbara Bush is the daughter of British occultist Aleister Crowley
A Facebook post from Feb. 16 claims that infamous British occultist Aleister Crowley was the father of former first lady Barbara Bush. This makes George W. Bush the grandson of the worlds (sic) most famous satanist, the user wrote. Crowley (1875-1947) is known for founding a religion called Thelema and popularizing the term magick to describe supernatural acts of the occult.
In a comment to USA TODAY,
 Casey Zevenbergen, who posted the claim on Facebook, said he saw the claim several times, including on the secure-messaging app Telegram.
This post has been circulating for many years, I also have seen it on other sites like Telegram. Not sure of its authenticity but it has raised a lot of conversations,  Zevenbergen said. ....
