Student Senate convenes for final meeting


The Student Government Association Student Senate convened for their 14th senate session of the academic year April 22 at the College of Media and Communication building.
Hunter Heck, student body president, announced that on Monday, April 26, the commencement of the Safe Night Program at 12:30 p.m. at Two Docs Brewery, located on 502 Texas Ave. She also expressed her gratitude to the student senators for their efforts this year in the senate.
Charles Ramey, graduate vice president, spoke on continuing being the voice for change on the Texas Tech Campus. He also spoke on Tech Got Talen that is happening on Friday, April 23, at 6 p.m. at the Student Union Building Courtyard. ....

UPUA Continues Internal Elections, Passes 16th Assembly's First Legislation


The 16th Assembly of the University Park Undergraduate Association met virtually Wednesday night for its second meeting.
The night began with a special presentation from student trustee Bryan Culler. He spoke about his role in the Next Gen Penn State Advisory Group, a group organized with the purpose of seeking input and guiding community involvement in the search for the next university president.

this survey for any students, faculty, staff, or alumni interested in weighing in about characteristics, priorities, and goals that are important in the search for the next president.

As the weather warms up and the sun shines over Mac Field, Grinnell College students in a typical spring semester enjoy a wide range of exciting events and campus traditions every weekend. This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions that discourage large group gatherings, students are getting creative to figure out which events can and cannot be salvaged. ....
