ESTNN breaks down all the action from Week 5 of the SA DPC.
Season 2 of the DPC is almost at an end, it’s been a breeze for some teams and a hard slog for others. We take a look at the current standings.
Lower Division
BINOMISTAS tasted their second defeat of the Season this week. They faced off against Crewmates on our opening day of play. While BINO took the first map confidently, Crewmates managed to turn things around in Game 2, stomping them down in 28-minutes. Our final game of the series saw Crewmates struggle a little through the lanes, but they brought the lead back their way by the 20-minute mark. The choice to run a Bristleback for Gustavo Fcr Ribeiro in this final game was the right one. He easily outpaced the farm of BINO’s PA, ending the game with a comfortable 10/1/12.
Royal Never Give Up proved to be the big winner Friday by picking up a pair of victories during the second day of group play at the Mid-Season Invitational.

The 2021 League of Legends MSI has started, and world champions DAMWON Kia registered their first tournament win against the North American Spring Split champions, Cloud9.
DWG came in as firm favorites to win the 2021 Mid-Season Invitational and carried vast loads of expectations from their fans. Now, after a brilliant start to their first international matchup against the LCS representatives, the Korean League of Legend giants have successfully managed to make a statement for the rest of the competition.
Breeze has been removed from the VCT Iceland map rotation
Riot is listening to the pro players
Breeze is not going to be featured at VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Iceland, Riot announced on May 4.
In order to uphold competitive integrity, and after coferring with professional players around the world, Riot has decided to take the new map from the rotation. With just three weeks to go and international travel coming up, Riot notes that there is not enough time for teams to practice on Breeze.
After conferring with pro players globally, in the interest of competitive integrity, Breeze has been removed from the map rotation at Masters Reykjavik.

We’re now halfway through Season 2 for South America, and the competition will only get hotter from here as the region heads into its last three weeks of play. We take a look at where things stand at the end of Week 3.
Lower Division
BINOMISTAS are currently sitting at the top of our Lower Division standings. They nabbed themselves another series to bring them to 3-1, knocking out Inverse in the week’s opening match with two quick, clean games. Benny Benny Cervantes had a grand time on his Sven pick in Game 1, winning bottom during the lanes. Then going on to a 12/3/8 KDA by the time Inverse called GG at 36-minutes.
