A bizarre incident was caught on camera during the second Zimbabwe-Bangladesh T20I as one of the bails mysteriously dropped on the pitch on its own, leading to an appeal for hit-wicket. The spooky moment happened during the 18th over of Bangladesh’s innings when Mohammad Saifuddin was on strike. Tendai Chatara was bowling his fifth delivery, when the weird incident occurred. Saifuddin turned around to see what had happened when he heard the sound of bails being dislodged. It showed Saifuddin inches away from the wickets and looks like, the wind had toppled the balls. The stumps were also shifted from their original and upright position. Opting to bat first on Sunday night, Zimbabwe scored 193 for 5 in the allotted 20 overs, but thanks to Sarkar s career-best 68 the visitors won the match with four balls to spare. Zimbabwe were off to a flying start with openers Tadiwanashe Marumani and Wessley Madhevere taking the attack to the bowlers. Madhevere in particular showed great intent and smashed Taskin Ahmed for five consecutive fours in the fourth over of the innings. ....

Bangladesh reached 194-5 in 19.2 overs, sealing a 2-1 series victory and finishing their Zimbabwe tour with a hat-trick of trophies. Bangladesh earlier won the preceding one-off Test series and three-match one-day international series by 1-0 and 3-0 margin respectively and Sunday’s series win against Zimbabwe is their only T20 series victory on the Zimbabwean soil. ....
