Kapil Gade, deputy commissioner, Customs Mangaluru said that the smuggler has been identified as Mohammed Ali Sameera, resident of Kasaragod in Kerala. She tried to smuggle gold by concealing it in both her inner garments including sanitary pads and socks. Gold of net weight 2.41kg was seized.
