In this second edition of the Let s Learn Digital programme, Malaysians can access digital marketing courses and certification offered by these companies, free-of-charge till 31 October. 
The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has launched the second edition of its Let’s Learn Digital programme, a part of its #mydigitalworkforce initiative.
This programme aims to upskill Malaysians in the workforce to be equipped with in-demand digital skills for an increasingly digitally-dependent workforce, MDEC said in a press release on Wednesday (28 July).
While the first edition last year was in partnership Coursera, this year s programme will see MDEC collaborating with Facebook, Google and LinkedIn, kicking off with free-of-charge digital marketing courses and certification offered by these companies. ....

Facebook has provided an update on its efforts to maximize diversity and inclusion, both internally and externally, through a range of initiatives and projects.
And according to the data, it has made progress on virtually all fronts, despite the additional challenges of the pandemic.
As per Facebook:
Over the last year, we’ve seen growth in underrepresented communities at Facebook. Today, more than 21% of our non-technical employees identify as Black or Hispanic. We’re also proud to report that we had our most diverse intern class ever in 2021, with 44.0% women globally and 20.4% from underrepresented minority communities in the US (Black and Latinx). This year, 4.7% of our US-based employees identify as people with disabilities, and 2.4% identify as veterans. Our LGBTQ+ community makes up 10.6% of our US-based workforce. ....

2020 commitment: Airbnb said it would donate a total of $500,000 to the NAACP and the Black Lives Matter Foundation. It also said it would match employee donations to both groups.
The company also said that by the end of 2021, 20% of its board of directors and executive team collectively would be made up of people of color. By the end of 2025, Airbnb said, its goal is to have 20% of U.S. employees be underrepresented minorities and for 50% of global employees who identify in the gender binary to be women.
Airbnb also said each member of its executive team would create and share a detailed plan to meet those goals with their teams. ....
