By Greg Hirst on January 18, 2021 Turkeys (Wyoming Game and Fish Department) CASPER, Wyo Spring turkey and nonresident elk hunting applications are due by Feb 1, Wyoming Game and Fish announced. The spring turkey season opens April 1 in the Powder River Management Area, which includes all of Campbell, Johnson and Sheridan counties. All other hunt areas open April 20. Applicants can apply for only one turkey license, with a bag limit of one turkey, before the drawing is complete. After the initial drawing, a person may apply for up three wild turkey licenses valid for the season, provided that at least two of those are Limited Quota Type 3 licenses, Game and Fish said. ....
The Wyoming Game and Fish big game application period opened on Jan. 4. Resident and nonresident hunters can begin to submit applications for elk, deer, antelope, spring turkey, moose, bighorn sheep and mountain goat. First deadline is Feb. 1, for nonresident elk and resident and nonresident spring turkey. Nonresident elk results are scheduled to be released on May 20, according to Game and Fish Public Information Specialist Christina Schmidt. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will begin accepting 2021 hunting license applications at 8 am Monday, Jan. 4. Residents and nonresidents will be able to submit applications for licenses to hunt the following species: elk mountain goat Applications must be submitted online. Game and Fish notes that the first application deadline is Feb. 1 for nonresident elk licenses and residents and nonresident spring turkey.
