Body of 15-year-old teen missing at Morton Lake located


(Riverton, WY) – The body of the 15-year-old young man from Evanston, who was missing and presumed dead after an apparent accident at Pilot Butte Reservoir, was located shortly before noon Monday morning.
Sonar equipment operated by the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Organization was utilized, along with volunteer divers from the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Division.

The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff and County Coroner’s Office.
Sheriff Ryan Lee expressed his sincere condolences to the victim’s family and friends.
Sheriff Lee praised the actions of all those involved in the search and recovery effort, and would like to thank the public for their understanding of the temporary closure of the area, which is now fully open again.  ....

Barrow-based drug and alcohol rehabilitation service The Well goes Cumbria-wide


A DRUG and alcohol rehabilitation organisation based in Barrow has recently won a contract to provide their services across Cumbria following increased praise of what they offer.
The Well Communities will work in partnership with Humankind, who recently won the contract to deliver the new drug and alcohol treatment services in Cumbria.
The Well is a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO), where support is provided by staff and volunteers with lived experience of drug and alcohol use. They already work across Barrow, Morecambe, and more recently Kendal.
