LISBON Lisbon schools have been open for in-person learning 16 of the first 17 weeks of the school year, with only one week left before Christmas break begins and schools will not have to deal with the pandemic for 14 days.
Superintendent Joseph Siefke told the school board at Thursday’s meeting he is grateful they only had to switch to all-online learning from home for one week so far given what is happening with the COVID-19 virus.
“So I’m really happy with that, and I feel the kids have gotten off to a good start” as a result, he said.
