The 20-year-old lit the lamp 14 times inside the Chilliwack Coliseum while also leading the Spruce Kings in points with 27. He wraps up his Junior A sting with 102 points in 168 regular-season games. Spruce Kings fall short in hard-fought effort against Chilliwack SHARE ON: One goal was enough for the Chilliwack Chiefs. On Friday, the Prince George Spruce Kings came up empty against their long-time rival dropping a 1-0 close shave from the Chilliwack Coliseum in BCHL action. The only scoring came at 16:25 of the opening period as Dawson Good lit the lamp shorthanded against Spruce Kings netminder Jordan Fairlie. After PG outshot Chilliwack 12-9 after 20 minutes, the game tightened up considerably as the Chiefs edged the Spruce Kings in shots the rest of the way by a 12-11 margin. Chilliwack went 0-for-4 on the power-play while the Spruce Kings were unable to score on their two opportunities. ....

Andrew Seaman and Christian Buono led the way offensively with a hat trick each pacing the Spruce Kings to a dominant 11-2 win against the Merritt Centennials on Wednesday. “I think we knew we had a lot more offense to bring after those first two games. A lot of it was shaking off the rust as it’s been a while since we played. The second and third periods we got pucks to the net, got some good bounces and it’s just the way it goes sometimes,” added Seaman. ....
