But the 55-year-old Northern Bruce Peninsula man says one of the most dangerous roads he’s travelled is in his own backyard – the stretch of Highway 6 between Wiarton and Tobermory.

JERSEYVILLE A Colfax man has been charged with burglary and theft recently by the Jersey County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Cody L. Wells, 28, of Colfax, was charged April 19 with burglary, a lass 2 felony; and theft, a Class 4 felony.
According to court documents, on April 11 Wells allegedly broke into a building in the 1200 block of Miller Lake Drive, and took tools, a signed Dale Earnhardt Jr. card, Spiderman comics and other memorabilia valued at less than $500.
Bail was set at $75,000. Wells has previous arrests this year for drug, weapons, and credit card fraud charges. ....

Local politicians and advocates for increasing the safety of Highway 6 on the Bruce Peninsula are applauding the province’s proposal to introduce tougher penalties for stunt driving.
The Moving Ontarians More Safely (MOMS) Act, introduced this week at Queen’s Park, would increase both the automatic vehicle impoundment and driver’s licence suspension periods for motorists caught stunt driving – travelling 50 kilometres per hour or more above the posted speed limit.

Highlights
This 3D IP geophysical survey is targeting the east limb of the Nipissing diabase sill which remains largely unexplored despite its geological similarity to the historic producers in the camp. The underlying geology in the survey area is similar to the near-by Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc. Castle East Robinson zone which recently announced a maiden silver-cobalt mineral resource. ....
