Nurses are still being recruited to work at the Laois Covid 19 vaccination hub in Portlaoise.
The medical recruitment agency has Servisource has invited registered general nurses to apply for positions in the town where a hub is operational at the Midlands Park Hotel.
If you are an RGN looking to gain invaluable experience working within a vaccination hub in Portlaoise, this is the oportunity for you, says the appeal.
It continues: The Covid-19 vaccine will be rolled out over 5-7 days (including weekends and long days). We will require people for a minimum of two days a week and a maximum of four days a week to work in these designated vaccine hubs. ....

Vaccination centre for each county as roll-out ramps up

There are to be 37 Covid-19 vaccination centres around the country, with at least one in each county, according to new details published by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly.
He said that most of the centres are being constructed, some have already been completed and all are expected to be open before they are needed.
The centres are based on population density and will have different opening times.
At a briefing on the programme, Mr Donnelly said there will be five vaccination centres in Cork, four in Dublin and two each in Kerry, Tipperary, Westmeath, and Wicklow.
To date, 6,000 vaccinators have been trained. ....
