Bergen County also closed their vaccination site for Tuesday. Appointments that were scheduled for Monday and Tuesday will be honored Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday with proof of the original appointment, spokesperson Derek Sands said.
State officials did not say when Tuesday s appointments would be rescheduled. Individual health care providers will be reaching out via phone, email and/or text to reschedule, Gov. Phil Murphy said.
Murphy asked New Jerseyans to call the state s vaccine call center 855-568-0545 for information if they hadn t already been contacted.

A breakdown in New Jersey s COVID-19 vaccine rollout has left thousands without an appointment for their second shot, prompting Gov. Phil Murphy on Wednesday to outline how to get the required follow-up dose.
Vaccine providers are supposed to arrange a second shot at the time of the first dose, but that hasn t happened at some sites across the state.
Many New Jerseyans find themselves in vaccine limbo with the recommended window to get a second dose closing 21 days between Pfizer shot and 28 days for the Moderna vaccine.
