PORTAGE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Officials in Portage and at the Pfizer plant there are continuing to prepare for a visit from President Joe Biden this week. He is expected to come to the area on Thursday, which will also be his first visit to Michigan as President. It is unknown who could accompany Biden to Pfizerâs plant while he visits with employees producing the COVID-19 vaccine, or if Governor Whitmer could possibly join him. Last week, Biden announced that the U.S. will secure 600 million doses of the vaccine by July, and that they would come from both Pfizer and Moderna. ....
