Earlier this week, a license plate reader in Florida got a hit on a trailer that had been stolen so the Real Time Crime Center was immediately activated to locate the truck the was towing it. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at a local convenience store and when they searched the vehicle, they found some odd things. Inside they found 35 year old Joseph Mixon in possession of a loaded gun that was in his pocket, a back pack that had a large amount of counterfeit cash, brass knuckles, and two clown masks. Also in the vehicle, they found law enforcement equipment including ammunition, badges, a helmet, a Mississippi State Police Dept. ID card and a Pearl River Sheriff s Office key card. When authorities contacted the Mississippi State Police, they said that Joey had been terminated and asked to keep the equipment safe.
