As a member of the military for the past 19 years, Matthew Davis has served his country. Mr. Davis said being in the military teaches the importance of civil service and doing what is best for the group, not the individual. Mr. Davis, a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard at Joint Base Cape Cod, is one of two candidates seeking a spot on the school committee. He and Brian M. Weeden are running unopposed for the two open three-year seats on the committee.
