Latin fusion restaurant Guava Grill has opened on Sun Vista Way off Golden Road near Pershing Ave. . Soho Juice Co. in Winter Park has reopened after completing some renovations . On I-Drive, Mango s Tropical Cafe will reopen June 10. Ava, the high-end Mediterranean restaurant going into the old Luma space on Park Ave., is currently under construction. The restaurant boasts formal and informal dining spaces, two bars, a VIP lounge reserved for AVA members and an underground mixology bar. Expect a late 2021 opening . Owners Yixi Qiu and Wen Pan, who run super-popular, Insta-famous creampuffery Light on the Sugar at the Grove at Winter Park, will begin serving scratch-made, Asian-inspired French pastries from the old Blue Bird Bake Shop space in time for the Fourth of July weekend. ....
Bad news for The Apprentice fans! The Apprentice has been delayed until after Christmas, Lord Alan Sugar has confirmed in a recent interview. Coronavirus impacted the series last year, with producers initially hoping the series would be able to air in 2021. But unfortunately the series won’t be on our screens until 2022, as filming will not take place until the end of the year instead of the summer like originally predicted. In an interview with The Sun, Lord Sugar said: “I think you’ll see it in the early part of next year, in fact that’s the plan. “If things go well, and there’s no outbreaks or third waves, we’re planning to start recording later this year and it should be just after Christmas that they’ll start it again.” ....
