DDC Rajouri reviews implementation of key development RDD sector schemes

RAJOURI : District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today convened a meeting of officers of line departments to review the progress on ongoing vital projects and schemes in the district.
Among the others, ADC Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Sambayal; ADC Kalakote, Krishan Lal; ADC Koteranka, Surinder Mohan Sharma; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DFO Rajouri, Arshdeep; ACP, Abdul Rashid; DSEO, Bilal Rashid Mir besides the other concerned officers attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the status of ongoing works under District Capex, implementation of Forest Rights Act, conduct of tribal survey, execution of works under B2V3, status of payment under 14 FC, constitution of Panchayat youth clubs, rejuvenation of water bodies, status of aadhar seeding of MGNREGA job cards, COVID19 vaccination of 18-44 year age group. ....

Physical verification of development projects in full swing in Rajouri district

A number of projects have been kept in the Plan, for verification this week, belonging to different departments, for which District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, (Dy. Director Planning) Bilal Rashid deployed various teams, to ascertain the factual position regarding the execution of the projects on ground and their utility cum outcome, after completion, being public benefitted schemes.
The teams have been assigned the task to carry out hundred-percent physical verification of works and projects in the district.
The inspecting teams examined whether all basic codal formalities like AA, Technical Sanction, e-tendering have been adhered to besides examining availability of budgetary support, DPR, tendered/allotted cost and expenditure incurred etc. They further verified any visible and major deficiency which requires the attention of the executing agencies for remedial necessary action. ....
