Posted: February 25, 2021 New projects support biodiversity, improve basin ecosystems Columbia Basin Trust is providing $1.35 million to three new, large-scale projects that will improve ecosystems in the Elk Valley and Lower Columbia sub-regions, benefitting locally significant species including northern rubber boas, bull trout and Rocky Mountain elk among others, and their habitats. The Ecosystem Enhancement Program is a five-year initiative that aims to maintain and improve ecological health and native biodiversity in the region through large-scale, on-the-ground projects with significant and measurable impacts.
