Red Cross, City Of Muskogee To Aid Families Displaced By Fire
At least 16 people are living in a place that is not their own after a fire tore through their Muskogee apartment complex.
Mayor Marlon Coleman said first responders worked hard to make sure no one was hurt during this fire, saying it could have been a lot worse.
Firefighters responded to the Raintree Apartments Saturday afternoon where flames destroyed one building s roof and left the 16-unit building a total loss.
While the cause of the fire is under investigation, city officials and the Red Cross are helping residents find somewhere to stay.
