tZERO partners with NY real estate developer for Dubai project DUBAI, March 9, 2021 tZERO, a leader in blockchain innovation and liquidity for digital assets, has partnered with ROI Group, a global real estate development company, to digitise up to $50 million of preferred equity in a luxury hotel and residential development located at Downtown Dubai on the Tezos Blockchain.
A technology firm, tZERO aims to enable the market to securely tokenise and trade digitally enhanced securities. It is part of Medici Ventures, the blockchain-focused, wholly-owned subsidiary of Overstock.
ROI Group, which is headquartered in New York, has multi-billion dollars in assets under management, with properties in the US, Canada, and the Middle East. It specialises in land development, real estate investments, and passive co-investing. ....
tZERO Joins with ROI to Tokenize Dubai Real Estate tZERO has partnered with ROI Group, a real estate development company, to digitize up to $50 million of preferred equity in a luxury hotel and residential development located in downtown Dubai, according to a release. The tokenization will utilize the Tezos Blockchain. This is said to be the first digital security project for the New York-based Roi Group. The company is said to hold billions of dollars in assets under management. The digital security will use tZERO’s smart contract technology and Megalodon’s management consultancy services. ROI Group says it expects to issue the digital securities in Q3 of 2021, and the development of the building is expected to be completed in Q4 of 2023.
